Whether you are a woman navigating the menopause with ease but wanting to improve your wellbeing, or someone struggling day-to-day with a range of menopause symptoms or life stressors, please get in touch.

As women, we don’t need to simply put up with the distressing symptoms of perimenopause that can leave us feeling overwhelmed and out of control. There are things we can do.

Working with Michelle, an experienced mental health practitioner of 30 years and a qualified Occupational, CBT, and EMDR therapist with first-hand experience of navigating menopause herself, she will support you to:

  • Understand what is happening to you in perimenopause.
  • Manage your stress and menopause symptoms.
  • Make the changes in your life that you want.

Menopause MOTs

Our Menopause MOTs provide a comprehensive assessment of your psychological wellbeing and menopause symptoms, along with an individualised therapy plan to meet your needs.

Michelle is a firm believer in evidence-based treatment and helping women find reliable sources of information to inform their decision-making in menopause. She is an advocate of HRT but recognises that it is not for everyone and firmly believes in a woman’s right to choose strategies that work for her.

Using therapy skills gained over 30 years, Michelle will help you reduce your stress and distress. This might include:

  • Psychoeducation about menopause to help you feel better informed.
  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based treatment for menopause symptoms, stress, anxiety, and depression.
  • Mindfulness or compassionate-based approaches.

Michelle brings a wealth of experience and expertise to her work, combining this with her honest, matter-of-fact approach and good humour—qualities her clients value highly.
